Announcing the AHE Illuminated Now! Emerging Composers for 2025.

We are proud to announce the launch of Illuminated NOW! our exciting new Emerging Composers Program.

The number and quality of applications we received for this program were impressive, and we are delighted to announce the five 2025 Illuminated NOW! Emerging Composers.

Congratulations to Tullia Cairns, Tim Jayatilaka, Charlotte Leamon, Emma Olsen and Adriel Sukumar.

This annual initiative is designed to support and inspire the next generation of Australian composers by providing a hands-on, collaborative experience with the specialist musicians of the AHE, led by Artistic Director Skye McIntosh, with mentoring assistance from AHE Composer-in-Residence Ella Macens.
