French soprano Stéphanie Varnerin’s premiere recording of Cantatas by the Italian composer Cesarini has garnered much attention, and her stunning voice has brought her several awards including: First prize in the 2014 International Baroque Singing Competition of Froville, First prize at the Concours International de chant Léopold Bellan (Paris), the 2010 Orphée from the Academy of Lyrical Records for the production of JP Calvin’s La Cantarice Chauve, and in 2013 she was a finalist in the Armel International Opera Competition.

Stephanie’s many opera roles have included the title role in Glück’s Orphée et Euridice (Les folies du temps Orchestra); Vagaus from Vivaldi’s Juditha Triumphans (Capriccio Français Orchestra), Livietta from Pergolesi’s Livietta e Tracollo (Les folies du temps Orchestra), The Night, Mystery, Naiade, and Fairy from Purcell’s Fairy Queen (Monaco Baroque Orchestra and Les folies du temps Orchestra), La Musica from Monteverdi’s Orfeo (Monaco Baroque Orchestra), Emilie and Zima from Rameau’s Les Indes Galantes (Les goût réunis Orchestra), Licori from Vivaldi’s La fida ninfa (Les Ambassadeurs Orchestra) and Morgana from Handel’s Alcina.

Stéphanie has sung on France Musique Radio, France Culture Radio, Arte Live web TV, Radio Télévion Switzerland, and Rai 3 (Italy). She performs regularly with Ensemble L’Astrée (Chamber version of the Academia Montis Regalis, Italy), Les Folies Françoises, Les Ambassadeurs, Les folies du temps, and the Lamoureux Orchestra.
