Under the guest direction of Erin Helyard, the AHE positively shone. This was the best performance I have heard from them.

The Australian Haydn Ensemble played with admirable precision of ensemble and attack, shaping each theme without contrived mannerism, undue emphasis or bumptiousness.

The AHE strings brought a folky, vibrant energy to these performances that made for great listening. 

The AHE continues to be one of Australia’s premiere early music groups.
