EDUCATION PROGRAMS
The Australian Haydn Ensemble is passionately committed to educating and inspiring through Historically Informed performance. The Ensemble offers a range of programs for students of all ages and stages. The Haydn Akademie Orchestral program and The String Workshops reach out to students in metropolitan and regional areas, providing them with a unique musical experience connected to eigteenth-century music and philosophies. Students have the chance to work alongside AHE musicians and try out period bows and wind instruments while discovering aspects of classical style and ensemble techniques. Our Schools performances are a great way to introduce students to instruments and facilitate learning through music. The Haydn Seek cushion concerts for small children (0-5yrs) are a great first concert experience for babies.
