As you may remember, we started 2017 with a Summer Matching Fundraiser which was made possible by generous underwriting from a small group of AHE supporters.

This year, two long-term admirers (a married couple marking their 50th anniversary), have offered to carry that role – with guaranteed matching of your donations to a combined target of $40,000.

This couple admires our Sydney concerts but also (and particularly) wants to help support our regional touring and workshops for young musicians – educating them in the musical and instrumental techniques of the early classical period.

HOW DOES THE SUMMER MATCHING FUNDRAISER WORK?

It's simple: all you have to do is DONATE, then AHE's generous couple will match your donation. So, if you give $100, AHE gets $200. If $500, it becomes $1,000 and so on. As an added bonus, you will be acknowledged in our concert programs and website for the doubled amount.

Skye McIntosh and the Ensemble’s musicians performed superbly in 2017. The reviews were impressive with comments like “played brilliantly and in style”, “ravishing sound”, “a stunning season” and “a jewel in the national period instrument crown”.

But as you would know, these achievements cost money! The Summer Matching Fundraiser helps ensure we maintain AHE’s core work, while also touring and offering student workshops.

So, please help us to keep the flag flying high in 2018.
